Meet Frost....

Good morning everyone today I decided to show you this card I made using the new snowman called 'Frost'. Isn't he just the cutest? especially after I gave him some bling to attract passersby lol. I decided to use non traditional colours as although I used bling thought it might suit a male.

For the card I used these lovely papers by DCWV but I have no idea of their pattern name as I have had them so long I've forgotten lol, my cardstock is from the Paper Mill Shop, the sentiment is from the Crafty Sentiments range called 'A Christmas Wish' and is available over at the  web shop (link found on the sidebar), for the snow I added some Flower Soft in 'Polar White' and the gems are basic clear gems which I coloured with my Promarkers.
Oh and please forgive my ribbon after I had stuck it down and tied it I went to cut off the excess only to find someone had been in my draw and used my scissors for something sticky hence I had to re cut it and it got shorter!!!
Have a great day.

Challenge

I hope everyone had a wonderful week! It's getting cold here and that is pretty unusual. We even had snow up in our hills and that NEVER happens! Have you seen the new images over in the crafty sentiments store (it's open!!!! Yea!)

Your challenge this week is to use glitter.....It can be mixed in something like shimmerz or can be ribbon that is shiny just like glitter.....Think creatively for this one!

She has the most adorable snowmen EVER....I am not exaggerating! With the freezing temperature here (OK I'm exaggerating a little there) I had to use one of these snowmen. I used Snowman Frost.

I used the snowflake from Holiday Happiness. The sentiment is from that set as well. I had these felt snowflakes and I used iced lavender shimmerz on the snowflakes. I used angel wings snowflake on the snowman and I used stickles for the snow. I also used some fun flock for the puff ball on the hat and for the snowballs on the side. I love that it has different textures when you touch it! I also used 2 different ribbon and layered them.
